Areas of Work:

• Execute test scripts – Functional/Regression and Automation testing of Desktop applications, Web and Mobile applications, Application Programming interfaces (API), End to End(E2E), and Embedded Systems

• Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases and automated test cases/scripts using Selenium and Appium; Java as the primary programming language

• Create and maintain test automation framework: TDD using Junit or TestNG, and BDD using Cucumber’s Gherkins statements

• Create program code and scripts using Java and .NET to integrate automated testing frameworks and development frameworks, leading to continuous integration (CI/CD).

• Log defects using the defect management tools such as HP-ALM, Rally Software and JIRA software, and work closely with developers to resolve the defects and issues

• Create and Update RTM (requirements traceability matrix) for QA related activities.

• Work with Business Analysts, Software Developers, and Test Data teams to resolve any issues that arises out from test planning and test execution activities.

• Present test plan/ strategy, test cases/ scenarios, test execution results, documentation and test status/reports

• Conduct code peer review, test plan review, test scenarios review, test results demo with client and obtain sign off.

• Work using waterfall and Agile software methodologies(scrum/Kanban) on projects

An ISTQB® CTFL Software Test Engineer/QA with experience testing in different applications such as SaaS, SAP, Web, Mobile, VR, voice application (Amazon Alexa), Virtual assistant (Chatbot), Salesforce, and desktop applications utilizing UAT, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and API Testing.

He is exposed to both Manual and Automation Testing. He has sufficient knowledge of testing tools such as Postman, Robot Framework, DBeaver, HP QTP/UFT, Jenkins, Selenium, HP ALM, JIRA, AWS, and TestRail. He has experience executing test projects across various methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile, particularly Scrum and Kanban processes.
